Hello!
My name is Jake Jager. You can call me Jager. I’m 21, a Junior at Grand Valley State University, and I’m going to be working at the happiest place on earth! This blog is keep all you friends, family, followers and Disney fanatics alike satiated as I document my adventures in DCP.
Why?
The Disney College Program is something I’ve wanted to be a part of since I first heard of it. DCP is a great chance to put a world-renowned company on my résumé, an excellent networking oppertunity, and a chance to make some amazing life long friends.
I’ve seen a number of blogs about DCP, but I have not seen a lot written
from the male perspective. While this blog will be written for anybody who is interested in my life or the DCP, I hope to provide a new and unique
perspective on what the program has to offer. I would like to give a little shoutout to Caroline and Elly, whose blog inspired me to make one for my experience. You can buy their book here.
When are you going?
I will be participating in DCP for the Spring semester of 2016. My arrival date is January 18 and my departure date will be May 19. As of right now I’m not looking to extend into the summer.
What’s in the blog?
Great question, ME. Well, this blog is going to be a mixture of photos, text posts, and if I can make it look good, some vlog posts. This will be my “public journal” of sorts for the duration of my DCP experience.
